Bio

Lynn Barbell began working at Timoney Knox in January 2001 as an Estate Paralegal.  Her responsibilities include communication with the client and the attorney throughout the entire estate administration process. These responsibilities include preparing the necessary documentation to open an estate, writing to financial institutions to obtain information about a decedent’s assets and debts, keeping accurate records to prepare Inheritance tax, Estate tax, personal and fiduciary income tax returns. In addition, she prepares Accounts for both Estates and Trusts along with accompanying agreements to finalize the administrations. In addition to her responsibilities as an estate paralegal, she also prepares deeds, mortgages, construction loan instruments, etc. related to real estate transactions. 

Lynn graduated from Bloomsburg University in 1985 and worked as both a manager and assistant buyer at Strawbridge and Clothier. After Strawbridge’s closed in 1996, she went back to school to earn her paralegal certificate and graduated at the top of her class. Prior to joining Timoney Knox, she worked for two other law firms.

She is married and has two grown children.  When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, travel, walking, running, biking, skiing and hiking.
