Bio

Ferrell is an Associate in the Wills, Trusts, and Estates department specializing in Orphans’ Court litigation, Assisted Reproduction Technology (ART), Non-profit law, and Minor’s Guardianships.  As a former Judicial Law Clerk in the Court of Common Pleas of Chester County, Civil and Orphans’ Court Divisions, Ferrell possesses an intimate understanding of court operations, having assisted in drafting numerous judicial opinions and developing local rules.

Today, he balances his vigorous litigation practice with representing local governments and land development applicants.  Whether he is navigating a will contest or representing a municipality in a public hearing, Ferrell combines rigorous legal research with the strategic insight gained from his previous career in non-profit consulting.

Ferrell graduated from the University of Pennsylvania College of Arts and Sciences, where he majored in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, and subsequently graduated from the University of Villanova Charles Widger School of Law.  During law school, Ferrell clerked in the Court of Common Pleas of Delaware County and worked at the Defender Association of Philadelphia, where he gained hands-on trial experience that continues to inform his sharp, results-oriented advocacy for his clients today.
