John J. McAneney is a partner at Timoney Knox. With the firm since 1990, he assists clients in forming corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies, buying and selling businesses, estate planning, tax matters, real estate and employment-related matters, as well as civil and commercial litigation in these areas and insurance defense litigation. Mr. McAneney is admitted to practice in federal and state courts in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as the United States Tax Court. He holds a Finance degree from the University of South Florida, a Juris Doctor and L.L.M in Taxation from Temple University School of Law. He also holds an MBA (Accounting) from Temple University and previously held a Certified Public Accountant license for approximately twenty years.
Mr. McAneney has been active in his community, having served as an Upper Dublin School Director and as Solicitor and Vice President of the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce. In 2006 he served as President of the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce. He is active with the Wills For Heroes program and frequently supports Ambler’s Community Cupboard and several youth organizations as well.
