Mr. Jacquette has been a member of Timoney Knox since 1977 and has served two terms on the firm’s Executive Committee. His practice areas are: Estate Planning including preparation of wills, trusts, financial powers of attorney and health care powers of attorney; Estate and Trust Administration representing executors and trustees in fulfilling their duties to carry out the terms of the will or trust; Family Law including divorce, support and custody; and Municipal Law representing local government municipalities.
Mr. Jacquette received a bachelor’s degree from The College of the Holy Cross and a law degree from Temple University School of Law.
A 32-year member and past President of the Montgomery County Estate Planning Council, Mr. Jacquette is a frequent lecturer on estate planning and family law. He is an active member of the Montgomery Bar Association, currently a member of the Judiciary Committee (Chairman 2010), the Family Law Section (chairman 1988), the Bench Bar Committee (chairman 2009), and the Probate and Tax Section. He is a past member of the Orphans’ Court Rules Committee (chairman 1992), Elder Law Committee (chairman 1994), Board of Directors, and Executive Committee. Mr. Jacquette is a volunteer attorney in the Montgomery Child Advocacy Project which provides free legal representation to abused and neglected children.
Mr. Jacquette is a long-time member of the Lower Gwynedd Township Parks and Recreation Committee and served as its chairman from 2001-2012. He was active in the Lower Gwynedd Little League for more than thirty years, serving as president, team manager, and umpire. In 2011 Mr. Jacquette was given the Citizen of the Year award by Lower Gwynedd Township for his service.
