Thomas J. Timoney, a Partner with Timoney Knox, has been with the firm since 1950, assisting clients with estate planning and administration.
The father of nine, he is sensitive to the future of economic and environmental considerations necessary to protect and preserve the resources of the nation. Since 1957, he has been a Director of the Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association. He is a founding member of the Rotary Club of Springfield and has served on the Board of Trustees of the Artman Home in Ambler.
For many years, Mr. Timoney served as Solicitor for Lower Gwynedd Township and the School District of Springfield Township. He is a member of the Montgomery Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Bar Association, a member of the Orphans' Court Rules Committee, and Past President of the Montgomery County Estate Planning Council. He has participated in numerous other committee activities for both the Montgomery Bar And the Pennsylvania Bar Associations.
Mr. Timoney holds a degree in political science and economics from the University of Pennsylvania, and a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. During the Korean War, he served in the United States Air Force as a member of the Judge Advocate General's Corps.
