  Michael O'Hara Peale, Jr., has been with the Firm since 1971 and served as the Managing Partner until July 2007.  He heads the Firm's corporate and tax practice and has an extensive background in the formation of corporations and other business entities, and in assisting clients with buying and selling businesses.  Mr. Peale also has extensive experience in estate and trust administration.

  In 2004, Mr. Peale was elected to the Board of Directors of the Montgomery County Community College Foundation, which provides scholarships, emergency funds for students, grants for faculty projects and support for cultural activities on campus.

  Mr. Peale holds a political science degree from St. Joseph's University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and earned his law degree from the Temple University School of Law, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he was an editor with the Law Review and wrote for the Temple Law Quarterly.  Mr. Peale also received a Master of Law (Taxation) from Temple.  He served in the Judge Advocate General's Corps of the United States Navy and was appointed a military judge.

  Admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1967, Mr. Peale is also authorized to practice in U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. Court of Appeals, 3rd Circuit, and in the U.S. District Court of the District of Columbia.
